Referrals for Care and Assistance
and Additional Resources for Support

The good news is that the number of resources to aid survivors of rape is growing. The bad news is that there is a growing need for those resources. Rape is a brutal act of violence that should be stopped. But until that happens, much more attention should be given to caring for the many millions of rape survivors suffering from the trauma of their experience. The wounded of this battlefield need attention now. The resources listed below focus on addressing the trauma of rape.

These resources include emergency hotlines and crises services, referral to care and assistance, information and education material, and guides to action on public policy dealing with the issues associated with rape. The list below is, by no means, comprehensive. But, it is a start. Many of the sites listed provide additional referrals to further assist you.
